Last Saturday night The PTO Bash was a huge success!. We cheered the Patriots on to victory and danced the night away to The Pi Alley Band. The American Legion was transformed into a beautiful, sophisticated nightclub and no one went home until the early hours of the morning which is always a good sign! The funds raised during the evening will all go to benefit the enrichment programs offered by the PTO at Memorial school and the results of how much we raised will be offered shortly. I would like to thank all those who made the effort to come down and enjoy themselves. I would also like to thank those PTO Bash Committee members who worked tirelessly to make this night an evening to remember. For their delicious food organization skills Lauren Hahn and Susan Arntsen; for their creative brilliance, vision and hard work in transforming The Legion Jan Albertazzi and Joanne Hoff; for her generous spirit and hardwork organizing, collecting and selling balloon raffle items all evening Tory Morton, for her hardwork setting up, delivering, breaking down and completely managing the school store Phillippa Wilson, for their hardwork and dedication in helping set up all day Liz Eichenberger & Amel Benali, for her hardwork, kindness and always smiling face in selling tickets and managing ticket sales Carla Feurebach Aldrich, for gathering many items for the balloon raffle Nancy Garvey, and finally Megan Meek for organizing all the prompt payments needed along with her money management skills. Lastly I would like to thank Chloe, Cael, Phoebe Schwartz & Justin Eichenberger for helping their mothers during the day of set up, Ken Albertazzi for his generous 'box of joe' and donut run and Larry Schwartz for his patience! As the PTO Chair and Bash Chair I am always amazed and gratified by how a small group of kind and generous people can make such a difference. Putting on The Bash for the last four years has been an experience I would not have missed for the world. I can safely say that this years Bash was by far the most fun I have had doing this and despite our depleted numbers, thanks to an unavoidable Playoff Game conflict, we rallied together and provided the big screen for our big fans. The band were truly fantastic and the atmosphere was one of generosity of spirit and good, old fashioned enjoyment. I also want to thank all those at the end who stayed and helped clean up completely. I know the unusually large and happy group of people who stayed and danced till the very end would have had a smile on their faces all the next day! Thank you for making The Bash '08 one to remember.

Where does the money go??
The PTO has held The Bash each year for the past three years. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and is primarilly responsible for funding the largest proportion of our enrichment programs. Please visit our enrichment web page for more info on specific programs.
Traverse climbing wall.

Each wall has a slightly different theme to it. ‘Traverse’ because it’s safer than vertical while still being challenging also allowing for more kids to use it without at any one time.
The Magna Wall – a wall with magnetic capabilities combined with the great look of Standard Climbing Wall Panels. Adding magnets to the climbing wall allows teachers and kids to mark routes, play games and lead cross-curricular activities.
Relief Feature Design Wall – On this wall the ‘real life’ rock features add climbing and eye-appeal to each Traverse Wall panel. Each 4' x 8' panel is uniquely featured with a variety of fixed rock shapes that can be used along with the hand holds to traverse the wall. The kids experience a lifelike ‘outside’ rock climbing experience inside their gym! An experienced climber could climb the wall using only the rock!
The Bash ’06 completely funded these walls.
